The activities of this workshop were organized in University Council Hall in Tishreen University on Thursday 21/2/2019.
Within the framework of the Erasmus plus project (EGREEN) a two-day Regional Energy Workshop was organized by the School of Engineering at the University of Jordan under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The workshop took place on January 29, 2019 in Dead Sea area. The workshop aimed to address the needed updates for the energy strategy in Jordan, and tackle the challenges of socio-economic development and climate change.
EGREEN Project 6th management meeting was held on December, between 18th -20th, 2018 and took place in the Dead Sea – Jordan.
The meeting gathered representative partners from different countries including Jordan, Syria, Austria, Germany and Portugal.
In the meeting, EGREEN Courses development Progress was discussed, in addition to Discussing EGREEN educational portal, quality procedures, financial issues and dissemination workshops.
On the Second Day of the meeting, Presentations about Project Implementation were presented by Jordanian and Syrian Partners.
Also, Training workshops were held during the meeting to train the Syrian and Jordanian partners who could not attend the training at European universities.
Finally the next meeting was scheduled to take place in Jun, 2019 at Hamburg – Germany.

A dissemination session for EGREEN project was conducted during the 6th Global Conference on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for Desert Regions (GCREEDER 2018) which was held at the University of Jordan during the period from April 3-5, 2018 under the patronage of HRH Prince Hamzeh Ibn ALHussein.

The workshop held on 4 May 2017 was to introduce the objectives of Egreen project and select appropriate environment courses according to the teaching needs of undergraduate studies at ABU.
That workshop was held to ensure the participation of specialists working in the university, government companies, non-governmental institutions, private universities and project friends in selecting eight environment courses proposed for development. More than 120 scientific and administrative bodies were invited to participate in this workshop, and there were 64 participants from different fields (industry, environment, oil refineries, fertilizer plant, and food processing plants, chemical offices, engineers’ association, medical association, industrial city and water supply authority). The participation was effective and the attached table was selected and endorsed by the university presidency subsequently.

On April 2-5, 2017, a stakeholder workshop organized by Tishreen University (TU) in cooperation with Environment Directorate in Latakia, took place in Latakia, Syria. The workshop was attended by different stakeholders including institutions, companies and authorities interested in environmental engineering, climate change and renewable energy technologies.
The workshop aimed at disseminating EGREEN Project and engaging the stakeholders in EGREEN network.
